  1. 溫哥華華人超多的, 不過, 講家拿大到處都華人就太誇張的, 溫哥華只是加拿大一個城市, 多半華人喜歡聚集, 所以, 看區域啦, 加拿大也有很多地方沒華人

      • again didn’t know you like fuckin dead people, necrophilia is illegal you know and since you’re from Taiwan you should know disrepecting dead people could bring bad omen like ghost huantings and other strange things

  2. I see a lot of people here are commenting about schools, to be honest a lot of chinese people select school based on names (and I fell into that trap too). I was from a small town and didn’t know much about schools out east. I went to U of T and if I were to choose again, I would choose based on my subject and the school that offered the best coop program to ease into a career.

UBC是university of beautiful chicks,正妹很多阿

    • Vancouver is such a multicultural city, where you can see many different races of people.  And of course that includes a lot of Chinese people.  What I don’t understand is why you should feel ashamed just because there’re lots of Chinese people live in Vancouver.  Furthurmore, weather here is really not that bad despite the fact that it does rain quite often sometimes.  Summer never gets too hot and Winter never gets too cold.  There’s really not much to complain about here in Vancouver.  I’m from Pingtung and have been living here for over 17 years.  Personally, I love it here and I think Vancouver is the most beautiful and best place to live in the world,  I’m proud to be Chinese and so grateful that I live here and I think you should too.  Don’t you think?

      • the origin of multiculturalism is so that you can keep your own culture AND adapt to Canadian society at the same time…but I have seen we do so well with keeping our own culture that we forget we lived in Canada, you don’t even need to learn English to live in Vancouver, other ethnic minorities keep push their “rights” while giving nothing in return.  Multuralism is a two-way street but unfortunately policies and people have turned it into a trumpt card against others they precieved to encroach on “their culture”.  What percentage of us actually mingle with other races or do you just hang around your Chinese friends in Richmond, sort of a Chinese ethnic enclave? How many of us actually “contribute” to the system here, instead of paying taxes to our own ethnic country and retiring in Canada while not having give a cent to the pension plan?

        • Dude that a bunch of Bullcrap. Did you know that Canada is a country based off immigration? You don’t need to be white or speak English/French to be Canadian. If it wasn’t for the racist policies such as Head Tax & Chinese exclusion act, Japanese internment camps then us Asians would have been the majority on the West Coast. Be proud of your heritage bro…not ashamed of it. that’s all i gotta say…

          • Too bad your ancestors didn’t land in this country before the English and French…Asian majority? why don’t you just call this place China’s colony, it’ll just end up a shitty place filled with Chinese who couldn’t give a damn about their own country

          • too much self-hate in these comments. I bet you wish you were born White you cocksuckers

          • The official language is English and French, in order to become a Canadian citizen you need to speak either one of them.  They should test everyone’s language proficiency in citizenship tests.  If you can’t even speak the language in everyday interaction then why the hell are you here?

          •  Spoken like a pissed off white trash redneck conservative. Apparently the colonizing Brits & Frenchmen never spoke a word of the languages of Natives & Inuit back then. Why the heck were they here???

          • Yep, keep using your “racist” accusation for everything the white people do…that was 50 years ago, give it a rest

          • wow joking about your mom’s passing, you’re a horrible son…. RIP

          • Also I bet you only hang out with “Asian” friends in places where they speak their native languages

          •  lol look who’s talking. if you’re whitewashed then you wouldn’t be here watching some mandarin TV shows on sugoi. smh

          • Hahaah change your name to 台灣人? please don’t disgrace the people of Taiwan with your lower than average intelligence and your igornance

          •  yeah like you didn’t know that i’m from TW… who the f uck comes here and watch TW shows? mexicans and jews? you’re funny bro

          • Mmm I don’t know…CHINESE? People who know chinese don’t necessary live in Taiwan.  Also implying there are no mexicans or jewish people or other non-chinese people who have studied the language.

          •  holy crap I;m done with this fool. Lesson learned: NEVER talk sh it about SFU or else ’em biatches will be butt hurt for over 2 weeks…go cry about it or deal with it

          • Where in my post did I indicate that I studied in either school? You should read more carefully before you comment next time.

          • Well mr. grammar nazi I can see you clearly aren’t enjoying yourself here in Canada, blaming white people for everything.  Yes they have made mistakes in the past with racist policies but that’s all the in the past and the Prime Minister himself have personally apologized for the Head Tax and the internment of Japanese Canadians during the war.  So why don’t you lay off your “Asian superior” and actually contribute to the greater society…instead of shutting yourself in

          • WTF are you talking about kid? I’m having the time of my life here. Just came back from my trip to Victoria. Had a blast drinking with friends. I ain’t blaming no one, I was just stating the facts. The problem with us Asians is that there are fools like you who won’t stand up for yourselves. You don’t see Blacks saying, “Hey we’re ‘pushing our rights while giving nothing in return” during civil rights movement. No they would not dare say that since Jim Crow laws are abolished, let’s all hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Wow have you been living under a rock? Or are you just simply oblivious/ignorant? Did you know how many years of Head Tax redress protesting that went unnoticed/ignored by the Canadian government? Sure, Harper eventually apologized. But only after some 80 fucking years later. You talk a lot about contributing. I’m not sure if you paid more income tax than I did

          • BTW since you called me the “grammar nazi,” I figured that I might as well point out some more mistakes:   “………the prime minister himself [HAS] personally apologized…………during the war”
that’s bad grammar, because it may confuse those who don’t know when the apology took place. Did the prime minister apologize during the war? No he didn’t. But your statement suggests that.

          • btw your grammar sucks donkey ballz, and yet you’re calling me a fob…I bet you’re exactly the type you were referring to in your earlier posts: ESL FOBs who only hangs with their own kind

          • Sorry I have friends who are Chinese and friends who are not, we don’t hang out strictly in any particular ethnic community and we communicate mostly in English. Stop making assumptions and claims that you can’t back up.

          • “we don’t hang out strictly in any particular ethnic community and we communicate mostly in English.” damn there’s so much wrong with the grammar here. Did you really graduate from SFU?? stop trying so hard..

          • Since you’re obviously a grammar nazis, let’s see your writing then

          • fobs like you that are tearing this country apart, leeching off the system and not contributing anything in return

          • Actually I take that back, thanks for paying those ridiculous amount of tuition fees you do as an international student…I’m sure UBC will probably print out your degree with a better brand of toilet paper

          •  did I ever say that I was an international student? You still butt hurt about the SFU & UBC comments? Why you so mad?

          • seems like the only response you could reply is “why you mad?” you must have spent so much time on the internet…

          • lol talk about spending too much time on the interwebs…you replied to my comments right away, even when I was on a vacation in Victoria last weekend. still mad about the SFU comments? deal with it bro.

          • haha why would i be butthurt about SFU or UBC? I graduated long ago to have cared how they rank according to that magazine

  4. I chose Concordia over McGill for the faculty of business…i’ve always wondered if i made the wrong choice since I was actually accepted into both…Why do so many ppl just judge based on the school name & not the discipline?! Business overall is very good at Concordia’s John Molson School of Business, McGill is only good at management and finance in terms of the business faculty

  7. Yeah I hope Part 4 is fixed soon – this episode is one of the more interesting ones I’ve watched as of late. I hope they go one on US foreign students. I’m not sure about the accuracy of college rankings in Canada, but I’d love to see how far people will BS US college rankings, esp on an overseas show. Hahaha

    • The ranking is based on a Canadian magazine called Maclean’s, the accuracy of the ranking has been disputed by many universities and 22 universities have refused to participate in their data and survey analysis. Also they have different ranking status accordingly to programs, undergrad, graduate, doctoral, research, etc. The rankings should only be server as a guide as some universities are only famous or specialized in particular field like sciences or business or engineering

  8. UBC=University of Big Chinks…they couldn’t even speak proper English, also most chinese are in economics, businesses, and finances

  9. 要排名 幹麻不說YORK的商學院 是加拿大第一
    笑死了 要說排名的制作單位 幹麻不查清楚

    • york’s schulich has only become more acknowledge in the last few years…..
rankings are affected by certain programs, however, it might be more on the overall university performance……. therefore york’s rankings are not that high
in addition, academic wise, schulich is very well known, but in the realistic working world, western ivy is still more preferred compared to york schulich

    • this is dumb, just because you go to a “no. 1” school in Canada, doesn’t mean you’re smarter than the rest of us

      • Going to any school in any ranking doesn’t mean you’re smarter than anyone. It’s a ranking, do you even know what they rank schools by and what the meaning behind them even is? Because there isn’t any.

        • Do you not look at the criteria that they rank the schools by? If you actually took the time to read the other details in the annual report besides the school rankings, then you can see that there is actual criteria. Stop hating on the people that are in a school with a higher ranking than yours.

    • It also depends on what you area of study is…Faculty of Law in McGill is more well known than U of T, Waterloo’s engineering and computing science department is also better than U of T

      • Waterloo’s high ranking is in Math not engineering. It’s engineering is way worse than UT in academics. But it’s Math department including actuarial science is bias a better reputation.

    • They might’ve gotten that McGill was first in Canada through the Macleans’ rankings, but those rankings are way too biased because of the 7% survey return rate, and didn’t Macleans have that huge controversy with the “Too Asian” article awhile back?

    • Yeah, I found it ironic how she was talking about how her econ professor would pronounce her name like “Curry” yet the program scripting wrote her name as “Kelly” (another mistake). Haha
