  1. WTF!! This episode is plain stupidity!! Taiwanese girls are WAAAAAYYY prettier than Chinese girls! I’ve been to both China and Taiwan before and lived in Shanghai for 10 years, so I can say that my opinion is pretty fair! When I went to Taiwan, most girls are very pretty and have nice style, they are also very nice and friendly, I was very pleased. But in China, most girls are just plain and have very bad taste in clothes, they are also very rude and have bad temper. I haven’t even heard any “Thank you” nor “Sorry” in China even though I’ve lived there for ten years. While traveling to Taiwan, I hear “Thank You” and “Sorry” every single day, and Taiwanese girls smile all the time, while chinese girls are always frowning. Also Taiwanese accent sound so much better than Chinese accent, it sound softer and more professional. I think this episode is very biased towards Chinese girls, because all the female guests are Chinese, and Chinese women always want to win in everything. Also, I totally do not agree with the nose thing, I’ve seen enough to know that Taiwanese girls have much prettier features than most Chinese girls.
BTW, I’m an American born Chinese, I lived in China since I was a kid and moved to the US when I was 11, and I’ve traveled to Taiwan many times, so I know both country pretty well.

  5. Very disappointing episode. Not even one Taiwanese girl is invited as a guest. How can 5 Chinese women make fair judgements on this topic?

    • Honestly, I cannot stand 70% of voices coming out of girls from China…
80% of Taiwan girls have great voice, nice skin, nicer personalities and moral values.

      • The girls from mainland China are definitely way more naturally prettier than girls from Taiwan. Girls from each province within the mainland all have its own unique and beautiful look. Eastern provinces like Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu have the typical standard asian beauties. Western provinces like Gansu, Xinjiang,
Xizang, Qinghai can have the pretty unique ethnic look (btw I am not just
talking about ethnic minorities here, even the Hans in these provinces have its
own flavor of attractive looks.) The Southern, Southwestern and Southeastern
provinces like Fujian, Guangzhou, Guangzhou, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Jiangxi and Hunan beauties will have the best blend of Northern and Southern look (muchbigger eyes, smaller and more defined face). The Central Plains and NorthernChina will have its own version of Chinese beauties as well, such as much taller, usually stronger build, better overall physical bone structures etc. Of
course with migration and such, there is much more mixture of different looks
in the Mainland. As Mainland China develops the standard of living will
continue to rise, more people will start to live better and eat better (able to
afford more quality food), and people will look better if they are more healthy
and dressing more up-to-date with the rest of the world. Like you implied,
Taiwan girls have good voice, skin, personalities and moral. Mainland China
definitely has more people with better sounding 字正腔圆 standard
mandarin (not the northern or southern accent, but actual well spoken mandarin),
and naturally better skin qualities (since most cannot afford skin cosmetics
yet). As well, most girls in mainland do have morals since they are more
conservative, traditional etc. Personalities wise, everyone is different and don’t
even try to put everyone under one label.
