  8. 綜藝節目而已…..小孩們想太多或太認真。認真是好事，有心就去台灣教英語。但對於一個綜藝節目，站在電視台的立場，資源及時間有限，有些地方不太完美也難免。最重要還是有錢賺，有廣告… 一小時內就只出現幾個英文字，有些集數更是沒有英語出現，要不就叫徐薇老師做兼職，專門打2句英文字幕吧。

    老實說，在英語國家待過的都知道有些洋人連母語，即英語，都說不好。很多華人留學生的文法和書寫能力都比他們好，他們也常常拼錯字….當你在社會做事，跟不同的人做生意，打交道，你就懂一切都是溝通方式，就為了方便而已。我是無聊，看了十多個小時前的留言，就是覺得有點意思，多事了一點，沒其他意思。

    順提一下，不管你是什麼人，懂多一個語言是你的能力，但不代表你要在此濫用並侮辱其他人。

    雖然我不是台灣人，但在國外留學多年，現在也在國外工作，我很慶幸我是華人，也很愛用華語。請保留中華文化的美德，仁義禮智，保持謙遜有禮對你的人生是好的。

  12. Chinese ppl regardless of nationality!! The 21st century, in fact the 20th century and the later part of the 19th century as well is an era defined by the western world. How some of u classify what i define by the western world is subjective, however it’s a fact that none of u can deny during dis age, our ancestors are considered of a slightly lower culture. And thru the history books, we know dat some of dem were exploited. But, mind i remind u guys dat all these can happen when we were infighting among ourselves, just like how the greek nation-states of sparta, athens, thrace and many others who suffered from the wrath of neighbouring Persian empire. To be strong and superior first we need to be UNITED.
    During the 19th century, Britain’s empire stretched thru to the horizons of the world and ther can be no denying of the power they held and the influence they make that still left a mark in today’s world. For the 20th and 21st century, the US took over as the world superpower whether economically or militarily and more importantly i would say in cultural aspects. They have seeped us with the ideas that they are more strong and superior whether thru pop references or the display of might. Ofc, ther is no questioning dat, Hollywood is still a bustling market, US military is still feared by many nations and of course the US dollar continued to be the most traded foreign reserve in the world. So, u mite ask me what do they hav in common because they both speak ENGLISH. The superpowers in the last two centuries are both english-speaking countries.
    Therefore, thru dis excerpt of history that i provide, it is undeniably a fact dat ENGLISH is an impt int’l language; dat as inhabitants of the world, we all must try and learn and hopefully master it. Attitudes that try to put down ppl who r well-versed in english shld b condenmed. Ofc, in the very journey to become more proficient in english, we must not lose our ability to converse in our native language; which to some of u will b in putonghua, taiwanese, cantonese and whatsoever. We must be able to achieve the ability to CODESWTICH: to be able to converse with our frens and families in our native lang n to b able to display a near-perfect or even perfect level of english when necessary whether in a work environment or other similar situations like conversing with tourists or vice versa.
    In conclusion, we must stop dis infighting among ourselves lest we give the opportunity for others to take adv of us and such infighting will only slow our own progress of becoming a more superior culture down. Usage of english shld nt b discriminated neither shld usage of Chinese b either. To b Better, we must adopt their lang, just like what Scandinavian countries have and have consistently done well in various research findings. However, keep ur own native lang close to ur heart and nvr lose it as well. One day, we Chinese will become the better ones just like we were once in the past(many centuries ago). To all those who will STILL ask y i post dis in English and say its an irony or a paradox will hav to read carefully wat i hope to express subconsciously to u all by writing in an informal style of english.

            regarding the english 字幕 on the show….people normally expect the guy in charge to, at the very least put in some effort to listen carefully and mayb consult some1 or a somethin to fill in the subs, not just treat every audience member as some1 willing to accept a more sub-standard english. Afterall, it’s a reputable program that is clearly not short of international audiences. Furthermore, as a regular viewer, this is not the first time dat english subs hav been a prob so i guess its only rite for certain viewers to expect a better standard.

  24. 字幕又將engineering寫作engineer，已經很多隻都寫錯英文了⋯然後那位台大同學的英文真是有點兒那個….希望台灣的朋友們真的要重視多一點英文，否則出到外面很難跟別人競爭耶（哭）
