I’ve been living in the US for 10 years now… I’ve never seen racism to such extreme like they described. I’m sure it happens sometimes, somewhere, but they make it seem like it happens everyday.
Also… the bullying between mainland chinese students and taiwanese students? I think it’s bullshit… A lot of my friends are chinese/taiwanese, a lot of the time we don’t even know the difference, no one cares. Everyone is the same.
Jeremy Lin is freakin American, get ur fact straight Nadou!
@_@ I’m studying in France now, all my french friends are very nice. Why Ruby talked like that?
it surely is different among students or let us say the “youngsters”. my cousin was also there for his first year in high school and i had hardly heard anything from him complaining about his french classmates though he speaks a perfect french which may be the reason to make the difference. also having a friend who is now studying in france as an exchange student and so far have i heard no any complains from him towards any french people. but if you are there as a tourist like Ruby was, and speaking everything but french then it wouldnt be so unusual for you to feel being “looked down” by the locals. if you speak french then i suggest you pretending that you are not able to speak any of it and going to visit some random restaurants or shops somewhere there in paris only by YOURSELF, then i bet you will soon experience that feeling that Ruby talked about:P
Lin is American….
我真觉得那个说什么where is your hair的人是在找死…
Well said by the expert!
i studied in ontario during my high school… >v<
