i found the first guy interesting, he wanted to get surgery because of his ex, which is stupid, but he brought up the point of if you cant even passed the appearance then how are they able to get to know you personally. there are a lot of people out there that dont care much about appearance but then again there are a lot of people that only care about that. the first guy changed to give him confidence but not boost his ego. i feel sorry for him about then again its his life, his decision and if hes happy with it then no one can judge him!
It has boosted his ego, and what he described was just his realistic observation. Do you mean to say that someone who is ugly should think they’re smart or stupid as smart? People like that can deceive others but won’t go very far. Confidence should be built on reality, and reality is something you must work on.
The world is very sad but it is reality. Soo many ppl just focus on appearance….
Very true; I feel it’s a reality a lot of people refuse to except or try skirting under the carpet. The entertainment industry is no exception, esp in Taiwan. If you aren’t good looking or a “typical” 帥哥 or 美女, you have to work so much harder to gain respect and approval of others. This could apply greatly to real everyday life, too.
But at the same time, I commend these people, namely the first guy, for going after what they want to change their life. The first guy looks like a slightly chubby and modified version of Jay Chou after his surgery. Haha

我也不意外這個，我只是覺得她做的東西根本沒必要，也沒有什麼大理由。感覺她只要聚光燈又在她身上. She loves attention and it’s just very shameless to me.
