I think he is not boss. That store is a franchise. And not everyone in singapore know taiwan artists. Esp older generation.
Well, that’s true…but there’s a camera there, so he should at least be more polite since this is free publicity for his business?

actually he is trying to be funny and stall their time, but apparently the celebs thought he was serious and didn’t play along. lol
is it? well…because everyone thought that he is just plain rude. There’s even a guy that posted on 综艺玩很大fb that people are discussing about him on a singapore forum and they are even thinking abt boycotting his store(not sure whether that’s true…) but yea…this guy acting too good la~ even the celebs also scare of him…lol
Well, i looked at it again and i still feel the boss is just trying to be funny. If a person is rude and angry the tone would definitely be different, but then he looked too serious when trying to be funny. The TW celebs are probably abit reserved and unfamiliar being in foreign land and thus didn’t challenge or probe the uncle, kinda unfortunate that it become an internet uproar.
Is he the boss or just a worker? If he’s the boss he wouldn’t be worried about the CCTV. I don’t think he’s trying to be funny cause that’s not how most people would act.
He very likely the boss, given his age and that stall type hawker center it is not common to hire worker for that kind of job. And if you look again, he is kinda half smiling when he is trying to be funny. Also, the show wouldn’t just barge into a place and start shooting without letting the stall holders know, they’ve probably communicated with the stall owners before hand. I think he is a bit too serious with his acting, and the TW celebs aren’t too familiar with Singapore culture to try and react to him.
Tourist saw might think that Singaporean are crazy if they didn’t know they are from Taiwan

黄队和黑队在炒菜头果摊吵时， 那个女顾客的还露出了厌恶的表情。哈哈
看完這集真想去新加坡玩很大!
