  17. Guys, it’s not easy to speak Eng like Americans if you’re only there for few years. You would get better for sure but don’t compare ABCs with students in US. DIFFERENT CASE!

  19. I want to ask, if lulu is supposed to be tagged as ‘not pretty’? I think she is alright, not sure why she is brought up in this episode..

    I think foreign guys dont necessarily LIKE “fatter” girl or “less desirable” girls in asia, they do like hot girls; the difference between them and asian guys are, they are not too fuss about the appearance, they appreciate more with the actual ‘fun’ that they have in the relationship. Im an average looking girl but my foreign boyfriend thinks that im the top of the world – he just know how to appreciate!!

    Its not the race, its the attitude & culture….

    • I think it is the other way around.  Only the left over ones would date foreigners because they are not wanted in Asian society.  They suddenly experience appreciation from men and naturally will fall in love with them.  

      I am sure you are top of the world, in his eyes.  But why shouldn’t any gf be top of the world in their bfs’ eyes? It has nothing to do with inter-racial dating.

      • it’s funny cuz i’ve seen many very attractive “leftover girls” in the street of taipei. what i don’t get is that their bfs are usually not remotely as attractive.

        • I think they are more good looking girls in general in TW than guys or at least at major cities? .. 
          at least from what we seen on tv … the older guys always goes for younger hotter girls as well .. when they are not even good looking … not even rich .. I find those guys on tv are really LOW and girls who date them have low taste ..

  29. 蔡康永本来就是留学的 不是ABC 英文大概能简单说和听就能毕业的 除非他主修英语。。只能说他没什么语言天赋吧 有些人去个几年就能口音很像ABC

    • i don’t think you’re “Americanized” if you think lulu is the most beautiful one out of them.. it’s just becoz s and tian-tian are not that pretty and others are guys..=_= compared to them lulu looks cuter and normal..

    • people who have not been practising their English, are either good at english because it’s their mother tongue, or they’ve grew up speaking it daily, so the pronunciation does not get corrected, but that does not mean that they do not understand grammar or can’t do a thesis. it’s just practice. also, ” Isn’t 蔡康永 a graduate from UCLA??” or “Didn’t 蔡康永 graduate from UCLA??” makes more sense. “how come his English is sucky”/How come his english sucks so much” would be more appropriate.

      • Actually Tsai’s English is not that bad. I’ve lived in the States for over 15 years and had been an engineering professor for 5 years. Many East Asian graduate students are not fluent in conversational English. Not to mention the high FOB ratio of grad students at UCLA.

        夏克立 has been living in Taiwan for over a decade. How do you rate his Chinese language proficiency…? 😛

    • If you go to US after you’re 20 years old, it’s hard to sound like the US natives. Your learning ability won’t be that good. Because your native tongue is not English, never will be.

    i live in US . i often see really cute american guys with asian girls who look just ok but very asian looking . these girls often are not considered pretty buy asian standards.

    • i totally agree! it’s the same thing in Canada…they seem to like asian women with very asian features…kinda like Disney’s Mulan lol 
      Whereas most Asians would considers girls with big eyes pretty for example

  54. 有些人覺得抄襲，我倒是覺得還好
    因為很久以前台灣的節目就有男扮女裝的情節
    像是以前天天開心，跟豬哥亮主持的節目常出現
    所以這還好吧~

      雖然我很佩服主持人還是可以做成帶有自己特色的節目,不過就
      創意上來說,說抄襲是一點不為過的

    •  只能說台灣平常互抄就抄習慣了,被抓包就會有一些似是而非的回應,可能是怕承認以後被抓到要賠錢吧(雖然這種東西很難抓啦,除非整個拷貝)
