  1.  Patty is a good host. She almost given free talk to d guest to express himself here.Mr. Chris Noth was almost control this talk show cause he is liked that in his interviews.Had watched a few of his before,no surprising he was non stop here.Sure that he was happy on this talk show with Patty who given him more chance to his aim here.No criticize to Patty’s English, had enjoyed watching her with some Hollywood famous stars like Cameron Diaz,Ben Barnes,John Walker & Isla Fisher etc…KEEP GOING STRONG PATTY ! Hope more interviews with Hollywood Stars soon !

  2. I don’t get why people bag on her English….she’s considered one of the most fluent in the industry alongside celebs who were either ABC’s or like her, studied abroad. Even compared to those who studied abroad, she has no accent (at least not that I can hear, and I’m an ABC).

I’m only on Part 1 too but I’m surprised Chris said “My ears were burning” after Patty did the show introduction in Mandarin. I get that he was joking, but it was extremely rude.

  3. I’ve only watched Part 1 so far. Although I really don’t like Patty’s super-heavy make-up, I don’t think her English was that bad at all (especially comparing with another hostess who also interviewed Chris Noth), but the translation of the subtitle is horrible. ” In the pilot, the last line of  the pilot that she says to Mr. Big…..”(12:15 ~12:20) OMG! on my screen I read “最後那位駕駛對大人物說…. ” “the pilot” was translated into “那位駕駛”! It’s not a live show; whoever was responsible for the subtitle translation really should’ve done some more check before broadcasting the show.

  4. she has a slight accent if you listening really carefully i guess. but shes still better than many other taiwanese celebs who claim to be fluent in english..such as jolin tsai. like..i dont even how tsai communicates to her bf with her crappy english

  5. FINALLY.. get to see her interview in english =D i am so happy.. have been anticpating her to fully speak english for a long time….

  6. 她的英文水準也太丟臉了吧 台腔英文 我的媽呀
The term you’re looking for is “villain”, Patty.  And what’s up with the “You will be playing the movie?” and “You also starting the tea business?”  The lack of substance in your interviewing skills is also an embarrassment for someone who is college educated.  Did they not teach you articulation?

    • 人家也只不過在美國念了四年書

      有必要這麼嚴格嗎

      英文又不是他的母語

      你這麼厲害   你去訪問阿

      重點是  沒人要看你懂我意思嗎

    • what are you talking about. this is taiwan. she didn’t even need to speak in english. its like getting criticized for not doing extra credit well enough.

  7. 他媽的老外 問候都不願意,還想來台灣賺台幣走,去吃屎
    回美國加入軍隊 繼續四處出兵 殺人 放火 搶油田
