Yes, i guess what she said was right. Practice makes perfect. But i think you need to have the right sort of people there for you to practice your skills. People need to be confident and willing to try.
Actually what Judy said was right. Conversing in English often is a good way to practice your English. A lot of Taiwanese are really bad in English is because they don’t converse in English that much. Their teachers, classmates, family members and friends are basically Mandarin speakers, so naturally they’ll converse in Mandarin. And of course, they lack the confidence to converse in English. Unlike Judy, she’s really confident about her standard of English which probably explains why her English is so close to perfect.
Her English is flawless, I suspect that she grew up in a bilingual setting. like most of ABC,

Agreed. The intonation sounds freaky at times. And the opening line ‘hello classmates’ should had been ‘hello class’.
but it sounds like shes forcing the pronunciation .. and if ur actually fluent with english. you wouldn’t speak like her…
she still kinda has a little accent, but definitely impressive to find in taiwan!

She does have an accent, a pseudo-american accent. I don’t get why Taiwanese are obsessed with American accent, it’s not the only standard English….
